Our wonderful mom departed at 1:30 a.m. Friday morning. Peg, Paul and I were with her and Kathy was with her on the phone as she took her last few breaths. Rest in peace mom.
Our condolences to the Knerr and Myers families. Farewell Auntie Rae. The last of the McMindes sisters are gone....they were all unique in their own way while having many similarities that endeared us to them all. I shall always have happy and fond memories of Auntie Rae, her zest for life, her tenacity to make every day count, and how active she remained up to her last days. May you rest in peace, Auntie Rae. Love, Don & Ita
A magnificent lady has left us here on earth, where she exemplified a most elegant McMindes matriarch. I find it comforting to picture Auntie Rae laughing, and, most likely, enjoying a glass of wine (or Marguerita) with her sisters and other loved ones. How fortunate she was to be surrounded with family who so dearly loved her. Goodbye for now, Auntie Rae. Love, Cousin Laurie
Sorry to learn that a wonderful lady has left for she will be greatly missed down here I am sure. We need more folk with her spirit, enthusiasm, determination and drive in this world today. No doubt those traits helped account for her longevity and possible a Margarita or two. bob owen
